The choice of flag, as I said in the previous post, is conjectural.
Hi, thanks for your comments. As in the regular army, they did both! In other words it depended on the C-in-C's viewpoint. In some instances they remained with their musketeer companions and in others they were all converged together. This practice continued into the Napoleonic wars.
Very nice indeed. Was glad to see your info regarding grenadiers. Had mine detached and then put them back in battalions. Now I feel I have an option. Mine are front rank purchased in the 1990's when they first came out. Mine are 48 figures strong. Yours look larger.
