Kreisinfanterieregiment Effern

This was a two battalion regiment provided by the Elector of Pfalz (Palatine) for the Electoral Rhenish Circle. The figures are from Eureka and make a nice change from those Russians from Front Rank I have been painting. The flags for the Electorate are hard to pin down but these are a possibility and are certainly colourful. I have long been interested in the Palatine as this rather splendid state would soon disappear when merged with Bavaria.
